Built on hard work and family

Joshua Wischnewsky was born in Houston and grew up in the car business. By age seven he was already washing cars at the Victoria, Texas dealership where his father, Darryl, worked. That early start taught him to respect the work and the people who do it.

Josh sold cars while still in college, then earned his degree in automotive marketing from Northwood University in 2007 and finished the NADA Academy the following year. He worked through every department of the dealership, led a pre-owned team to the No. 1 certified pre-owned ranking in the nation for its brand, and moved up to general sales manager.

In 2013 he opened his first Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store, and within six months it ranked first in the country for market share against projection. In 2020 he added a second store, built a new facility on 15 acres, and turned it into a top-10 store in the Houston region. In late 2024 he took over the dealership his father had run, carrying the family name forward.

Josh still runs things the way his dad taught him. Customers drive the business, the team is everything, and nothing gets done halfway. Off the clock, you'll find him with his wife, Chaysen, and their three kids, Peyton, Presley, and Piper. That same standard is behind every unit and every service call at Wisch Fleet.
